Nokia 8210 online unlocker didn't work.

I used THIS website to unlock an old Nokia 8210 for free. The code provided gave a message on the phone "SIM restriction removed" or similar and all seemed fine but my O2 sim card still is not accepted.

Anyone care to guess why it didn't work ? When I tried it again, it said that the SIM lock has already been removed so I'm stumped.

Any help greatly appreciated.

For the record, it was locked to Orange and I have tried both Vodafone and O2 SIMs in it after entering the code with the same result..... "Invalid SIM".

It just seems odd that the phone confirms that there is no SIMlock but there obviously is.

I would visit nokiafree.org and download their unlocker.

Ask someone whos already unlocked it to unlock it. Its tough to unlock a phone for the first time if you have no idea how to do it.

Check the o2 sim is it in good condition or it get damaged.If the sim card is fine then try again to unlock by getting free codes from the website unlocking4free.com But still not working take your mobile to any service center.
