After this update whenever I multitask and I'm listening to music there are moments when the CPU is being used that i get static in the music. It pops and crackles for a bit. It gets annoying REALLY fast.

that works as a temp solution I hate to do that every few days. Im also getting a LOT of gateway time out and no gateway found when using 3g. Its become completely unreliable.
Please let us know what features you use heavily, what features you use occasionally, and what features you have not used on the new firmware.
i use the camera, music player, bluetooth, GPS with Nokia Maps, web browsing on the original web browser. i text a lot... more than i make phone calls... windows live msn, coreplayer, realplayer, gallery, calculator..
practically i use most of the phone's functions without a glitch... well there was ONE incident... i tried to refresh the music library after i added ONE track to my memory card, the phone either lagged/crashed but either way shutting it off and turning it back on seemed to fix that.
the GPS lock times on a nice clear day was quick and accurate. it only failed me once in the past week when it picked up the wrong location on the map.
i haven't experienced any browser crashes like some of you have but maybe thats because i don't use opera.
i dunno... this update has been fantastic for me... its like a whole new device!
Did anyone notice that holding down the multimedia menu key to go to the music player works on the first try now every time? No double pressing it to get it to work so far... for me anyways!
Also in the music player, if you're at the end of the song list in list view, you can scroll past it to the beginning again, instead of having to scroll alllllllllllllllll the way back up!
Thanks Nokia!!!!
I noticed that you can scroll past the end of your playlists, I love it!
However, I never knew that you can open the Music Player by holding down the multimedia menu key. All this time I have been sliding the screen down and pressing Play. That's awesome
My phones keeps giving my an error message "web-timeout connection" if I open a web page and start reading and I decide I want to click a link I get that error. Its like the connection drops so I have to reconnect just to keep browsing. Anybody have any ideas? Also has anybody been successful on streaming content from an online movie site like onlinecinema.org????
I got that on the old firmware all the time. I'd have to click on the link a second time and the request would succeed. Haven't been using the new firmware long enough to comment though.
One thing I have noticed is that the RealPlayer on the new firmware has trouble playing some .mp4 files that the old RealPlayer had no trouble with. The GPS works very well with Google Maps however.

+1 .. I have not found a fix yet, other than clicking the link like 5 times.
My home network has always been a defined access point and it still doesn't work right. You pay $550 for a phone....it would be nice to get something that works the way it's supposed to.

Min has been working great before and after this firmware. I doubt this firmware is the issue.
I haven't had any issues with the WiFi. Are you sure your access point is following the standard? It's hard to say whose fault these things are sometimes. I have an access point that works with every laptop except one (and the laptop that doesn't work with this one AP works with every other AP). Someone didn't follow the standard but I'm not sure if it's Lenovo or Linksys. Or, it's also possible that the standard is ambiguous and the fault lies with the IEEE standards committee rather than with either manufacturer.
I have a N95-3 with the latest firmware... since I upgraded to the new firmware, I have a weird problem... my phone shuts down (power off) by itself a few seconds after my alarm at 6am... it does not append every morning, but when it appends, it's only right after my alarm at 6am.
I never had my phone in my hands when I get this problem... it was always on my desk... but when it appends, I hear the same "power off beep" that I hear when I manually power off my phone.
the only program I have running on my phone are Skyequikey and TotalRecall.
