anyone else notice that their gps is crazy good now? i opened up nokia maps to see what version it came with, in the middle of my house, and by the time i got to about in the menu i had 5 satellites locked, repeated a few times to see if it was a fluke or not and it wasnt.
just upgraded to 2.0 and it also picks up a signal extremely quick

I tried both Nokia Maps and Garmin XT. Both picked up signals ridiculously fast!
yea, my lock on seems super fast, within nokia maps, google maps, and location tracker.
I've noticed that it indicates along the top when it identifies a local cell site, then when it finds the satellites, and then when it stops using the cell site. It also does seem a bit faster.
Anybody got the home media to work??? With this update isn't the phone supposed to be able to render the files on the device, mine finds the music files on my comp but when i click play/on device---- it won't play, wm11 won't even recognize the phone as the name i gave it, it just says unknown device....

when i sold my n95-3 and got the -4, that was one of the first things i noticed. pretty nice, huh?

Yea garmin xt and nokia maps literally picked up the GPS lock in like 5 seconds for me for both apps indoors.
liking this firmware upgrade a lot..... good job Nokia

i noticed after updating the firmware, my camera pics look a lot better. previously, all the images looked pale and had a bluish tint for some reason. camera focus is much quicker as well. normally, i had to play around with the focus to get the green box.
the zooming option with keys (* and #) are much quicker while surfing which i use a lot, really nice.
there's also a new column above the calender (search: internet and my content) on the standby screen.. not sure what exactly it's for yet but looks like just a shortcut to apps.
what i did noticed is the 2 games snakes and i can't remember the other one.. are gone. maybe it's lost somewhere but can't seem to find it in any folders.

so do you guys have the new multi media menu now? that stupid carousel sucked compared to the new one. at first i didnt like it. but its actually really useful for me.

no, still stuck with the carousel.. i think it's kind of useless. the media menu would of been real nice.
