it's definitely something to get used to but I only use two panes, music and web. The music one and picture ones are totally redundant since you can hold the shortcut key down to go straight into the music player or press the gallery key to go straight to the gallery
i also use the contacts pane, which is an additional 5 speed dials.

I know many of you have been watching youtube videos in your browser for a while now, so I have a couple of quick questions:
Is the video supposed to be choppy, load slow (even over wifi), and have audio skips? My -3 is not playing the clips smooth at all...hardly a replacement for emtube.
Also, while in fullscreen mode, the status bar cuts off the bottom of the video...is this normal?
FL3 seems to be totally overrated in terms of actual video watching It hardly works -
yes it is a little clunky. i dont notice much stutter, but it happens once in a while. emtube was the optimal solution for youtube. having flash lite 3 in the browser just makes it better for real flash websites honestly. like sometimes you get an email with a link to a site, and now you can actually see what it was all about, rather than having to wait till you got to a PC before. i do use youtube still when i need to search something, and watch the video. but i miss emtube.
I did the update, and it's definitely an improvement, BUT -- I've been using Opera Mobile 8.65 as my main browser, and now it's very unstable. On lots of websites, it just closes after a few seconds. I uninstalled and reinstalled, to no avail. Anyone have any ideas why this might be?
Thanks.
Read about this update at houston airport while coming back from vacation yesterday. At work right now and cant wait to upgrade when i get home after reading so many +ve things about it.
One thing i constantly see after reading this 13 page (as of this writing) thread is, the best way to upgrade is to format SDCard and start from scratch. I see many ppl are having issues with backup and what not.
Sure it will take me 1-2 hr to put everything on there but i think that is the cleanest way to do things.

yeah that's the route i took. the last upgrade i did was a mess.. files were buried or corrupted. this upgrade i backed up everything in the sd card and reloaded all files and apps after the upgrade. everything went smooth. very nice upgrade, you'll like it.
What flash websites are working with the firmware update? I only can get youtube to work well. The other websites either won't work or the video playback is in slow motion.
