I guess some complaining gets the job done!!! And I can also confirm that the phone boots up a lot faster, the camera boots up a lot faster, just faster in general. Also the addition of the "search" feature right on the home screen is also a new addition. I just finished updating and I'm still playing with it, I'll chime in with any new features I find.
FYI: YOUTUBE VIDEOS PLAY ON THE BROWSER WITH THE 5.99 T-ZONES PLAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JayFReaZy, I've never seen so many emoticons in one post before I'm glad we're all happy campers about this. It's probably safe to say (at this point) there are no major bugs to be concerned about. Who cares about auto-rotate. We have wrists for a reason
Are you sure you didn't run out of memory? (Storage space). Check that in the Device Status or whatever.
Did it ask you to install to the Phone or Card memory? Try the card or vise versa.
I figured it out... I did the FW upgrade and reinstalled contacts/calendar/programs from SD card backup. Everything reinstalled well except for Nokia Maps 2.0... After I tried a few times and kept getting the "can't install" nag, I went poking around the file system and found Nokia Maps 2.0 in the phone's regular memory. I deleted that and 2 tmp files in the same directory and Nokia Maps 2.0 installed perfectly.
Take home lesson: If you reinstall from a sd card backup, programs that don't reinstall from said backup need to be removed from the phone's memory before trying to install them again from scratch.

lol, yea I got a little carried away but I've been wanting an update for a few months now.
Anyway, I remember someone saying that youtube video's come out really big. You have to wait until the video is done loading, then click on the video and it will automatically resize itself and take up the whole screen of the phone. Kinda like when it takes up the whole screen on ur monitor when u click it. Anyway, im still excited
After restoring Messages from a backup (taken immediately before the FW update), PC Suite says restore failed (with no further info). On the phone I see the messages in the list, but cannot open then. It simply does nothing when I try to open a message.
In the web browser I have not yet been able to load anything in Flash. I get the little "loading" indicator, but nothing ever actually loads... even on Nokia's site for example, http://maps.nokia.com
Seriously, you'll have to grab your ankles until they fix that. Find an XP computer for the time being. This update is totally worth the hassle of visiting a friend/work/wherever computer to do the flash.
Glad I never upgraded to Vista. Sounds hellish.
lol yup that's what i did ..went to my moms house they got 3 cpu with xp on it worked like a charm...still upset that they dont have a fix for vista!
"Kentucky seeks to execute in a relatively humane manner and has worked hard to adopt such a procedure," Kentucky Attorney General Gregory Stumbo has said.
I wonder if the a2dp bluetooth hiccups have been cured with this FW?
Also want to know if they put software optimizations so it consumes less juice, like the N95-1. Got a tinker with it for a few days.
