i finally was able to put videos and pics/wallpapers on my phone!! i worked so hard, really i was about to give up....![]()
Banhmilover, do all your pics and videos show up as some of mine do here and there but sometimes are put in the wrong folders, thanks.
Gunpla,
I'm on Rogers too and haven't had any problems, 2G and 3G, I have P906i, all but internet functions and GPS and MMS don't work.

all of the pics are in one file and all of the videos are in one, i used my mircoSD to input videos and pics/wallpapers. did you input them through usb cable? i maually put the stuff in.
I tried through USB cable, but just acts as memory card reader, also with just the memory card in my computer. What folder do you have them in as I do have pictures but only a few show up on the phone, not sure why, tried all different types of sizes from same camera different settings but it's just so damn random. It's strange but my first memory card was formatted correctly through the phone and made a whole bunch of different folders and I have WMA music that works through the PC movie program but will say 'this file may not be replayed correctly' but still works, so kind of defeats purpose of using Bluetooth headphones to use with this unit as remote control functions don't work either. Arrr getting fed up with the phone's inconsistencies.

there's a link on page 12 on this thread. there is a how-to on putting pics, videos, etc, using usb/microSD. since its for the P905i, it needs to be tweaked a little. using SD card, instead of putting the extension ".xxx" for videos, you dont need to do that. on pics i think i just renamed it to "P0010001, P0010002", etc. make sure your videos are converted. pics dont need to be. i haven't tried the music yet.
Thanks for the info, I'll try again when I have some free time, it's just a pain in the but with all the renaming just to make it work, and when you say convert the videos you mean to 3Gp or .avi right? As for music that's one thing I have working, only on my first memory card but hasn't worked for the second one I have and not all songs show up, and they're in .wma format. I'll look at page 12 again, I did b4 but will review again
@rx93nug
yeah, convert videos to mp4 or 3pg.
okay, ive tried to get music/ringtones on my SD, but they never seem to appear.
not all my photos appear either...:@
it supports midi, AAC and mp4? but even when i convert songs to AAC, it doesnt show up.
anyone got it working? video or music?
does anyone know how to adjust the position of the clock on the standby display? i've been trying to go to Settings/Display/Display Setting/Clock/Pattern and then pick a pattern like 12. but it always stays in the same position. and even when i turn off the world clock display i have japan's time right under for some reason, anyone know how to change where the clock is? i tried reading the manual but that didn't help.
does anybody know how to display senders name when you receive a text message. i can only see +1 in front of the number.
check the P905i guide. The stuff should be the same. There's this part where it says "how to get Caller ID to display correctly".
you have to have the exact number saved in your phone book.Originally Posted by banhmilover
so if the number is 416-999-9999 and saved under "Joe", in order for "Joe" to appear when a text is receieved, you haveta have "+1416-999-9999" saved as well in your phonebook.
