I'd say the accuracy is really good, it gets 6-7 satelites when my Holux GPSlim 240 gets like 3, walking down the same path, the HGE-100 is much better than the Holux, and by no means is the Holux a crappy GPS...Originally Posted by deasine

does it have a removable headset? I have a pair of HPM-82 and i would like to use those headphones with the HGE-100
Yes, its removable, I use my headphones from my HPM-70s most of the timeOriginally Posted by lilmoh
i played arund with this handsfree a few days ago and it works ok. it took about 1 min before it could get a fix. More pictures can be found Here
I have the HGE-100 and so far it works awesome. I just downloaded the amaze software for the turn by turn nav and it works great. My only gripe as previously mentioned, is that it does take a little while for it to find or connect to the satalites.
I am using this on my k850i.

I found that the amount of time it takes to get a fix really differs... sometimes I get a fix in my house, and then I have a fix for the rest of the day...Originally Posted by amd is the best
Anyone know how I can download the sony ericsson programs:
"Tracker" and
"GPS Location"
I went to sonyericsson.com/fun on my phone (k790a), and those programs don't appear on the list of files to d/l.
I'm having a hard time getting the hge-100 to work with my k790a. It doesn't do anything with google maps... It's like gmaps doesn't even see it. Even after the green status light on the receiver stays lit solid.
The wayfinder program (one of only two to show up when I select 'download' from the hge-100 pop-up screen) doesn't work either. It says to insert the gps device and restart the program - even when the device is plugged in!
Screwy buggy hardware I guess... Got it at mobilecityonline.com

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I just bought this.
Has anyone been able to download a full set of maps to store on the memory card so that I don't have to download it each time? I have a browsing plan, but I'm on GPRS for now and the maps can't keep up when I'm just walking down the street; I imagine using it while driving would be useless.
Some people have mentioned using TomTom in this thread. Can you point me in the right direction on how to get this set up?
dont think thats possibleOriginally Posted by sk1d
