    703shf problems

    i need some help on this situation. my 703shf wont accept ANY simhack (ive tried nextsim, inex, i-smartphone, i-smartsim) for some reason. it will just give me "insert usim" it will work if i put in my voda and softbank sims and it will give me a usim mep when i put in my non-voda/softbank sims (tmo/att). i have done master resets only to give me the same results. time is of the essence as i sold it and it was giving the person that bought it problems as well. im stumped. all my simhacks work with the 904sh and 804sh.

    i thought 703shf can be software unlocked long time ago

    yeah. me and aw614 have been trying to come up with something for the past couple of hours now and im just plain stumped. i dont know of any places that can do software unlocking either so if anyone knows of a place, post it here so if push comes to shove, ill just get it software unlocked.

    Before I unlocked your phone, I tried it with a few sim hacks I have. Only 1 managed to half work.... I am not sure why, but I think the connection is not that great in the 703's sim holder.

    its weird, the first china3gpp he got worked, but that broke when it got stuck in his 705px, every other simhack he tried just didnt work after that

    It's weird, yes; it really should work.

    I will play with a few more just to check. The phone works great though after a typical testpoint unlock.
