    Airvoice wireless website down

    I notice that the Airvoice website is down, Also their other website they use to sell insurance is also down

    Did they close down?
    Did Michigan close the insurance place down?
    Did they merge with another company?
    Did Verizon close them down like they did another MVNO?

    My mother's phone still works but the CS number doesn't, #7799. It rings to a Verizon error message. Good thing the other phone we have is still on the 100 free mins.

    That means they possible have closed down. I think verizon will transfer accounts from airvoice to inpulse. If verizon does not want to handle it. I think they might give it to one of the other mvnos.

    Nice of them to notify customers. They can always send a free text message even if they have texting blocked.

    I was considering going with them at the end of the year.

    #7799 is now working. The web site is still down tho. Must have been maintenance or a problem over the weekend, hopefully. Be interesting if we find the web site is new with maybe new features.

    Edit: Just tried to reach CS. Got a message that said call could not be transfered at this time. Other features work, check balance, etc.

    Did it still say airvoice or did it just say verizon when you called #7799

    Also to find out what company is using the phone dial *611 send and see what the message say and hang up.

    When I did that it says Thank you for calling Page plus cellular. I have Page plus on my phone. I don't use airvoice.

    When I call 611 it always rings to Verizon whether on PagePlus or not. Also when I've dialed #7799 it always rang through to Airvoice. Who knows what is going on! My hopes its something great!!!!

    That could be true. We have had severe thunderstorms for the last 3 days. I'm surprised I never thought of that.

    By the way, I just gave them a call. Pressed 4 for customer care. Heard the music for 25 seconds. I got the message "I'm sorry, we were unable to transfer your call, please try your call again later". Oh well, the power must be still out.

    Just for info
    611 send does go to verizon if you do not hit the star key.
    *611 send at least on my phone goes to page plus.

    Their #7799 is answered by a third party and when this third party attempts to transfer it plays music and because no answer on the other end they play that msg

    8PM eastern and the web site is still down. Everything else still works including adding a PIN. I called 611 and my number has not been transferred to Inpulse.
