Some MTI pics for you guys
The villages at 25 mile view. Blue are active towers and black are planned towers.
An active GSM site with planned UMTS on the 850mhz.
Quote from the MTI help.
"To determine what frequency a tower is broadcasting, reference the letter in the site summary information to the description below:
G = 850 Mhz GSM
P = 1900 Mhz GSM
U = 850 Mhz UMTS
V = 1900 Mhz UMTS"

Can we make requests?
Paducah Kentucky. Reps have been telling me for ages that 3G is being built up here, but I'm assuming they're lying.
Wow, this will get hofo shut down quick!
You guys had better not cause me to lose my hofo access at work!
I've got a better list... showing sites through 2009, but I can't say where I obtained it. Have a similar for T-Mo
They're only So-Cal though.
AT&T... your world, throttled.
I doubt he's posting it from work. And if he is, he's definitely not saying that he is. Codered, thanks for showing us the tool and sharing the information. It definitely looks interesting!
no i'm not at work, it's 1am lol. I'm just crafty![]()
Are the former AT&T Affiliate, Edge Wireless areas in the MTI tool yet? I did see a current RF Map of this area in AT&T's Ukiah store (formerly Edge Wireless) last week, but of course I forgot to take a pic..D'OH! By the way, AT&T, like Edge always did puts the RF Maps out where the public can clearly see them in the stores here.
Edit-The AT&T Maps are stil showing Edge's coverage as partner, and still aren't showing the 3G coverage Edge has up, they really need to update their online maps. Oh, if you need a zip, put in 95470 (Redwood Valley) or 95482 (Ukiah).

Requests for pic through MTi have been done on this forum, but somebody didn't like the sticky and had requested that it be removed. It looks like they improved it from the last time it was up here.
thats the coolest thing ever. so this is the tool that the reps at the local corp store would use if i called and asked about any coverage enhancements or umts launch dates? i wonder much in advance 3g dates are posted. the latest i have heard is end of august at the very latest.
how i miss the mti map tool....... at least then we knew what to tell people in the stores when sh*t wasn't working. i wonder what the zip code 08857 shows for planned 3G, any issues today (this past wknd, i swear i had absolutely no svc) and if mobile tv eligibility shows for me. I don't always trust the coverage map tool. btw, what's ETC eligibility mean? that must be something new within the past 2 yrs.
It shows if they have no/low service in that area and have available spectrum to put up a tower.Originally Posted by myke81

Yea, last time MTi pics hit hofo they were deleted by a mod, but were then put up again after Howard gave the nod!
The price of a smartphone is $650. That's not gonna persist.
