Help pls...I think its bricked?????

Hi Everyone,

Well I was successful in debranding my w580i and decided to try reflashing with another firmware. Thing worked incredibly with no issues however now it is a brick.

I used SeTool lite 1.11 to do the flashing from the ATT to the W580_R8BA024_FS_C_ASIA_RED52.fbn andW580_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52.mbn. With the associated custompack.

I then reflashed today to the W580_R6BC002_FS_CENT_EUROPE_RED52.fbn and W580_R6BC002_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52.mbn and associated custompack.

It worked just fine....I then installed the quick access patch using the same software to decrease the brightness for the R6 firmware....no issues.

I then used XS++ to examine the file system using FSX and nothing happened. After 10 minutes I disconnected the phone but it will not turn on.

I then figured I should go back to the R8 firmware....when attempting to reflash I got this .....

I can get it to charge and come on with the "Demo Mode" now without the sim card installed.

When I put the sim in I get the "Configuration error. Please contact service provider....etc" message....

Any thoughts?

I was able to finally flash the R8 to the phone but at the end of SEtool lite it said...

UFS not supported...not sure why


Phone is now working but will have to check it out in XS++ to see if i can get into it there as well...wish me luck!

configuration error is because of the customize.xml

i posted a CID53 cus pack, which wont help you, but search around for custom packs.

All of my resources came from here, so there is links leading to them on this site.
