Not to sound stupid, but....I have a Voyager now (haptic resistance, right?). I had the Storm for one day in November. I returned it because of some other things it couldn't do that I needed, but I also did not like the "click" touch screen -- it slowed my texting/typing down significantly, waiting for the screen to "come back" from the click before the next character could be entered.

Is the "resistive screen" on the VX9600 going to be anything like the Storm's click? If it's not, and it's not like the Voyager either, could you explain what "resistive" means.

Your Voyager uses a resistive screen. I'd assume the one used in the 9600 won't be too far off from that one.

I think resistive screens are better. I like using a stylus for super accurate controls.. without buying a special stylus.

They are a little pricy, but I know they are legit and very good company to deal with. I got all my Christmas presents from there.

You can also google "capacitive stylus" and there's several available under that $20 mark.. if you trust the vendors.

What do you mean the keypad has an outside screen? How was the keyboard attached?

It's like a billfold, or wallet. Think of like a leather case that is just a shell.

The leather case (really not leather) has a screen on the outside, and when you open it up, the phone snaps in one side, and the keyboard is on the other.

Same screen as Dare and voyager. Seems a little smoother, but same screen.

This is an outstanding phone. It has all of the features the Voyager or Dare has with the flexibility of having either a QWERTY keypad or just the touchscreen.
