Think the envelope got pushed a little bit too far. If Rogers had brought in these plans at $10 less, the prevailing comments would have been negative but not so "I ain't switching". If all their plans had been $20 less, I think Rogers would have been seen as being progressive ( well not a whole lot http://www.howardforums.com/newreply...=1&p=11260302# ) in making Cell data rates consumer friendly for everyone not just the leading edge people. Even with these plans, I will still consider an iPhone since my current one is dying a gruesome death (cheaper to get iPhone/N95 than repair it).

All of these theatrics are more amusing than the news of the day!

If you really want to let them know how you feel, a simple shrug of the shoulders and sticking with whoever/whatever you currently have will speak much louder than all of the childish holding-your-breath-til-you-turn-blue tantrums taking place here today. If you really want to be heard, shut up and don't say anything at all. Just simply ignore it.

I just signed up on the $30/300 plan for my 1st Gen iPhone, and for some reason it's not working...
    I'm using:
    APN internet.com
    User wapuser1
    Pass wap

When I attempt to do any online operation, my phone sits there thinking, then eventually times out.

If I check my data usage, I get a couple of K sent, none recieved.

I did a search, but couldn't find anywhere that says I'm using the wrong APN settings...

I have the E up in my status bar, so I'm assuming that means i'm in coverage?

    Any thoughts?

Obviously people are outraged by the price plans. I want to know if I make up a generic email stating how angry we are that people will download or copy it and send to Rogers. We will all have to show the same email to the exact same address. Who would be with me? Who will we send it to?

If you don`t say anything they will assume all those that do buy are the quota that wanted the phone and plan. They will ahve no idea the amount of people lost...

Could somebody please tell me to what telephone number I can call and direct my comments concerning the release of these plans? I already know who to contact at Apple, but I'm new to the country and would love to contact Rogers to discuss how unreal their pricing is.
