The Ultimate Loyalty And Retention What Should I Be Looking For Mega Thread

The Rogers forum has one, and I really don't see why we shouldn't either, so as the title says, let see what people have got. Few requests though:

    1. No Corporate Plans
    2. Please Disclose how long you have been with Telus Mobility

And if your in a sharing mood:
    3. Your avg. monthly bill prior to your retention offer
    4. # of lines you have with Telus

As for mine, see my signature

you should call them back and ask them to redo your whole plan; you're paying too much for what you are getting...

    Phone 1
    150 anytime
    .10 long distance
    Voice mail unlimted
    per second billing
    25 plus saf plus 911

    Phone 2
    50 anytime minutes
    per second billing
    .10 long distance
    nothing else
    15 plus 911

    Phone 3
    50 anytime minutes
    .10 long distance
    nothing else 15 plus 911

    Talk $50 add a line $50+SAF+911
500+50bonus=550 anytime per minute billing (was per second on clearnet plan until adding the second line)
    Caller ID
    Basic Voice Mail
    Call Forwarding
    Call Waiting
    Call conferencing
    Detailed billing
    $.30 LD
    Nights and Weekends @ 9
    Unlimited Incoming

    $15 second line+SAF+911
shares same bucket of 550 anytime minutes
all the same features as above including unlimited incoming
free local calls between the 2 lines
I added $10 unlimited message bundle to first line.
Line 1 on 3yr contract until Oct 2009
Line 2 on 2yr contract until Feb 2009
They gave me unlimited message feature for free for 90 days at start of line 1 3yr contract in addition to standard hardware discounts.

My bill without any LD or usage surcharges is:
    $75+SAF+SAF+911+911
I never go over my included 550 minutes due to the unlimited incoming

What I should ask for next time:
I wish my plan was based on the more modern share plans because I cannot see the minute usage online at MTM until the bill is printed on these older plans.
I wish that I didn't have to pay LD to call the second line when we are outside of our local area.
I wish they had thrown in spark 15 into the plans for unlimited messages and partner sites.
I wish my LD rate wasn't so high (though yak and unlimited incoming takes care of this when I'm still in my home area). I barely use LD minutes but I cringe at the price when I do. Or bundle some LD minutes into plan.

Features I never want to loose:
    Unlimited incoming minutes
Call display and a useful basic voicemail (not the limited VM3)
    Call forwarding
Unlimited messaging. (mostly email forwarded to phone)

    Features I can skip
    detailed billing
Nights and weekends (I'm a weekday daytime caller, I don't care about this)
    Web browsing
    Call waiting
    Call conference
    Client since May 1999

I actually got a few calls from them to change my plan.

Im not sure what else i need or want though. I got everything i want, though if they can make it cheaper that would be good. Beyond that i dont really see/have heard of any other plans with 0.10 LD with no contract @ 30 bucks....
