Where's the dialtone?
First time poster here.
I have a Family Plan with my girlfriend. Our contract is going to be up within a week so we'd be eligible for free or discounted phone upgrades. She has an OLDER phone that she desperately wants to upgrade. I, on the other hand, have a bit BB Pearl. I'd like to also upgrade to a better device but there really isn't anything out there that makes me go WOW. I'd rather wait a few months to see if something comes along.
Not sure how these upgrades work so here's my question - If she elects to upgrade her phone in the next week or so, can I wait to upgrade mine and still get some sort of discount or do we have to upgrade at the same time since its a Family Plan? Any advice?

Upgrade eligibility is on each line separately, even when the lines belong to the same family plan.
If she upgrades now and you make no changes to the calling plan, only her line will enter into a new contract. You will remain out of contract until you upgrade (unless you change the plan in the meantime).
