ALL plans and promotions end on 7/12. That doesnt mean anything. Stuff is always getting extended.

It's called a marketing window. They have 6-10 marketing windows per year during which new plans are launched, new offers, discounts, promotions etc. Often times promotions etc are extended into the next window and new ones are launched. According to the "aybook-play" the Instinct will remain $129.99 after MIR until 09/01.
I don't see them ever raising the price of that handset. It allows them to come in with other competing (perhaps better) handsets at slightly elevated prices while giving them an iPhone alternative at a more favorable price point.Originally Posted by nextel2cingular
