Hopefully there are new plans on july 13th.
Offer expires July 12, 2008 or while supplies last. Requires 2-year contract and new activation. $200 early termination fee after 30-day trial period applies. Subject to credit approval. Mail-in Rebate: Rebates cannot exceed purchase price. Taxes excluded. Line must be active 30 consecutive days. Allow 10 to 14 weeks for rebate. A new phone activation fee of up to $36 also applies to non-Sprint.com purchases. Sprint reserves the right to cancel/extend offers without notice. Offers may not be available in all markets. Other conditions may apply. Read service agreement for details. The Nationwide Sprint & Nextel National Networks reach over 262 & 274 million people, respectively.
That just means that the offer ends that date. Rumor is that the Instinct will be 199.99 after rebate on that date.
Oh get over it the d and e are right on top of each other.Originally Posted by nextel2cingular

Hopefully they extend the deal...
ALL plans and promotions end on 7/12. That doesnt mean anything. Stuff is always getting extended.

It's called a marketing window. They have 6-10 marketing windows per year during which new plans are launched, new offers, discounts, promotions etc. Often times promotions etc are extended into the next window and new ones are launched. It also creates a call to action for the consumer while giving them the ability to pull an offer that is ineffective or unprofitable.Originally Posted by Next Steps

According to the "aybook-play" the Instinct will remain $129.99 after MIR until 09/01.
I don't see them ever raising the price of that handset. It allows them to come in with other competing (perhaps better) handsets at slightly elevated prices while giving them an iPhone alternative at a more favorable price point.Originally Posted by nextel2cingular
