Whenever you like, if there's a new version of the software, you can get it flashed. If you're in the Toronto area, the Fido Flagship store in Eaton Centre will take care of the flash upgrade no problem!

actually .. there are many LANGUAGE packs available .. but they do not give the option to choose ..
there are 8+ different language packs for world phones like 8890 ..

do the letters represent the language pack? this would seem odd to me if they did since the provider can pretty much choose what languages go in the firmware updates, right?

Any news on when a firmware update is coming out for 8390 ? Its needed badly !
When it does, Rogers still do it for free dont they ?(did my 8260 for free)

Many people(incl myself) have noticed the phone to be slow, especially when all voice recorder and tags are used. Phone tends to reboot (especially when no signal). Those are the most significant flaws that I have noticed
