Last night, I decided I would start assigning picture IDs to some of my contatcs.. I took one particular JPG on my computer, cropped it down to an acceptable size, and then sent it to the phone via Bluetooth. I then browsed through my pictures, found the picture, which appeared properly cropped same as on the computer, and I assigned it as a Picture ID for one of my contacts. Problem is, when I pull up the contact it shows the uncropped image in its entirety -- and Im not sure how it is doing that, as the uncropped image is nowhere on the phone to be found.
Even more puzzling is that I then went to take a picture with the phone, and assigned the picture the phone took as a Picture ID for someone else, and guess what shows up instead? Thats right, the uncropped image from last night. In fact, if I try to select ANY picture on the phone and assign it as a Picture ID, the picture I choose isnt what shows up on the contact -- its always that uncropped image from last night.
I suspect there are some temporary files hanging around somewhere on the phone that are interfering, and Im not sure how to fix this.. Anyone know?
Thanks,
Rick
