EVERYTHING'S GONE
That's an MTK looking phone that's far from 923SH.
For 923SH or WX-T923...... this is what you're suppose to be looking for... And he one on ebay looks nothing like this.

Everyone's on their own for hypersims. I'm out har har har har har~~~~
I don't understand what MTK looking phone means. Could you elaborate more on what MTK is? Is the as good as the 923sh at least because they certainly both look alike. I can't seem to find any real information about the phone, SH9230c I just assumed was the same as the Softbank 923sh with the exception of the Sharp logo on the front.
MTK is crappy software. Phone resolution is probably like 640x480 or even lower. It would be a Chinese manufactured cheap phone that shouldn't cost more than $100. And if you end up paying like 400~500 for one of those you probably got ripped off as well.
Remember looks can be deceiving.
Chinese MTK handsets are usually only triband GSM only. You won't be able to shove 3G out of anything.
MTK is basically the OS running under the iOS skin of all those crappy HiPhones 4GWITHAWESOMENESS+++ coming out of China. Sharp decided to adopt it (probably since it was cheap) and put their own, decent looking skin, on top of it and load it on their cheap Sharp phones destined for the Chinese market.
Several limitations of MTK: no WCDMA 3G, no external display (but it looks like Sharp managed to hack on a driver for that now), weird fonts once you dove in, and most importantly doesn't support screen res of over WQVGA. Avoid it unless you're either 1) desperate, 2) cheap, or 3) desperate and cheap.
the camera on MTK sharps is still better than that terrible thing they called a camera on the sh9010c/920sh![]()
Wow, I love all the info. I'm going to stay away from that one then. It ended before I could even place a bid. I'll still be on the lookout for anything Softbank. Thanks for the helpful info guys. Cheers.
