I got the same confirmation email, says mine was shipped at 2pm today (ordered yesterday afternoon). I never gave the CSR my email or asked to be contacted but still received a confirmation email.
wow BS, i ordered mine at 9:15 AM PST and when i called this evening they said it hadn't been shipped yet.
Ya thats what im thinking to, that this is bs .. Iwas talking to somone right at 9 EST and when I phoned today they said they are getting shiped on monday

i'm saying it's BS on the part of Rogers, I'm not saying I don't believe you. The fact that your order has been processed and shipped and mine hasn't doesnt make sense to me since I placed the order first thing in the morning. I realize now that it's likely they are being shipped from different locations depending on your destination and thus some warehouses are shipping them and others not. I'm in Vancouver and I guess they are slow over here.
12 July 08, Yesterday morning at 10:30am. I walked into Rogers booth in the mall, I've got myself a 16Gb 3G iPhone(White) at 10:40 am...I guess I was lucky. That was a last white 16gb from them..the rep said all black 16Gb 3G phone was sold out.

Do you know if the system implementation affects the shipping of the iPhone, or just the ability for CSRs to check on the status? I heard the shipping is done by an external warehouse, so hopefully shipping keeps on going even though Rogers' system is down.

Well, the system implementation affects the ICM Application, which links to Vision 21.
Thus, the reps are unable to pull tracking numbers in the memopad.
Can't comment on distribution.

Ok my apologies then. I would assume the shipping would be different based on location - i'm in Ontario so its being shipped from somewhere around Toronto I believe to Sault Ste Marie which is about 8 hours drive away.
plenty, plenty phones in stock! if you ordered before 2pm est youll get it next day for ontario, montreal two days tops if theres an issue. outside of those areas plan on 2 days maybe three at the latest and even then you may still get it next day. trust me.
Patiently Waiting for top of the line devices. Is it too much to ask that we get them before others or before they are a year old!
