Expected wait time for delivery?

I also get a "Billing Information Received" status now. So if it's picked up on Monday, I'm hoping for a delivery on Tuesday.

It's too bad I didn't specify my work address as the shipping address. When I asked the CSR to change it, he said he sent the HUP request through already and it was too late to change it. It's likely no one will be home when UPS delivers on Tuesday which means I've got to go pick it up at their GTA depot :-(

Unfortunately, UPS's ONLY GTA depot is really far (Downsview).

Unlike FedEx which has locations all over Toronto for customer convenience.

Checked this morning and the shipment left Mount Hope, ON this morning at 5:40am. Do you think it has enough time during the day to go through the central sorting station and get on a truck for delivery in the afternoon, or will it get delivered on Tuesday? I'm in Markham, ON.

Usually with UPS, it has to already be AT the UPS depot, ready and waiting to be put onto a UPS truck for delivery to the customer before the trucks leave in the morning or else you have to wait until the next day.

If the package arrives at their depot mid-day, you have to wait until the next day.

You can call UPS with your tracking # and ask them to keep it at the depot so you can pick it up. I do that when I know nobody's going to be home for a few days.

BTW, anyone with Fido got a tracking #?

The rep told me my phone number was the tracking #... I assumed that was either on Fido's website or that apple struck some kind of deal with UPS for all iphone shipments.. OR that this wasn't true..

I am starting to think that Rogers iPhones are shipping ASAP and us Fido customers are going to be sitting around waiting a while...

anyone with Fido have a tracking number yet?


UPDATE: Just got through to Retentions lol....a lot quicker than waiting for regular CSR....anyway the lady was super helpful and said they have plenty of stock, and that maybe some CSRs are misinformed....she got my tracking number also. Even went and told me where my phone is via some tracking system they have...(It left Mount Hope, Ontario @ 5:40am) and should be arriving tomorrow.

So everyone who is with Fido, dont panic yet if someone told you its not coming till August!

I am with Fido and I called this morning and got a tracking number and was told the iPhone shipped Sunday, though its only in Billing Information Received status like the others. I ordered mine at 10AM Est on Friday.

You can call UPS with your tracking # and ask them to keep it at the depot so you can pick it up. I do that when I know nobody's going to be home for a few days.

I ended up calling UPS this morning just to see if I have any option of changing the shipping address or telling them to leave it at the depot. I was told UPS has to make at least one delivery attempt before the receipient can have the package delivered to another location, or left at the depot for pick-up.

So in my case, if delivery is scheduled for Tuesday, then I can tell them to delivery to my work address Wednesday, or go pick it up Wednesday morning at their Depot at Jane & Steeles.

all you guys that have tracking numbers or know delivery info. were most orders done friday morning?

i made my order friday at noon. yesterday and today i called to check the status. and both times they show that the order is "pending" or "in process still". they said that an upgrade order has definitely been filled but it hasnt actually been processed in the warehouse yet, that maybe "theres not enough stock for it to get fulfilled just yet"

kinda worrying that something weird is goin on...especially since others mention that theres a lot of stock
