Toggle between mass storage device & modem mode: ##872#
Just out of curiousity....what does all this mean? lol
pretty much nothing. theyre general codes, and the instinct cant be "hacked" as of now.
They are still codes to gain info from the phone infact better then the stock MAIN MENU'S it goes in to a more techy way of telling you what's going on with your phone and what makes it work and run. So thats a startOriginally Posted by kellybrf

well what does 'hacked' mean exactly? there's a trick to get PAM working for free. the efs has been unlocked and games/apps have been ripped/extracted.
##brew# takes you to a brew shortvut menu.. nothing big.. but interesting.
only thing left is DDTM and an ESN method.
Oh really now?Originally Posted by autoprim3

This work is in preliminary stages; the 1st post will be updated when the write up has been completed. Please pm if you have anything to contribute.![]()
No discussion of changing ESN (illegal) in this thread. Tips, tricks & esp hacks are welcome. Thank You
editing the _policy.txt file allows for 3rd party apps to be run.
47*869#1235 opens test mode.
holding down on the volume key while you power on the phone puts the phone into emergency download mode.
still waiting for a DDTM hack and/or a way into the debug menu(not ##debug#)... but the same menu as say the A900... menu > settings > display > 0 > MSL. that screen has been available on every samsung phone ive used... there must be a way to get to it on here.
whats emergency download mode?
mode so the phone is able to be flashed with new firmware.Originally Posted by pure_player52
ahhh ok ty lol yeah dont know wtf these codes are for or what they do il stick around until i see something useful
How would you go about using it in PAM mode once changing it to USB modem mode? I want to test it!
I'm abandoning work on this project. Device has too many issues & not enough potential for the time investment required. See you in the next round. Good luck to you all.![]()
