    I already changed how many data slots my phone uses, activated tethering, and enabled phone call interrupts while using data, I have also upped my browser cache.

    holding down on the volume key while you power on the phone puts the phone into emergency download mode.

    still waiting for a DDTM hack and/or a way into the debug menu(not ##debug#)... but the same menu as say the A900... menu > settings > display > 0 > MSL. that screen has been available on every samsung phone ive used... there must be a way to get to it on here.

    ##DEBUGMENU# then enter your MSL code (minus the ## signs in the MSL), and then go to Toggle DDTM and set to OFF, and for the PAM option, Toggle NAI to off. Turn off phone, and turn back on.

    There you go.

    The USB modem doesnt work for my MAC - so I use Bluetooth.

    I cant tell you how to set up on a PC - Macs are designed for easy networking, and I cant for the life of me figure out the PC form of that. But it should automatically read the phone via USB Modem.

    HOW DID SOMEONE UP THEIR CHANNELS FOR DATA?

    i just ordered instinct today.

    Should be here in a week or so.
    I have been reading like crazy and have come up with couple of questions.

    This PAM thing...

    Is there any limitation on data downloads? Does it take up airtime mins? or is it included with unlimited data useage?

    I agree with doggk9, is there any step by step tut?

    Last but not least, what's MSL?

    also things that i found that maybe useful to others

    * ##786# (##RTN#) Device information, master reset
    * ##3282# (##DATA#) Data Provisioning
    * ##872# (##USB#) Switches from SD Card to Modem
    * ##2539# (##AKEY#) Program AKEY
    * ##2739# (##BREW#) Brew Shortcut Menu
    * ##332846368# (##DEBUGMENU#) MAIN DEBUG MENU. Can be used to turn NAI and DDTM on and off
    * 47*869#1235 Test Mode (Be Careful!)

    Besides PAM, what other stuff is good that's out right now?

    On a Mac, to get USB tethering to work, do this after the Modem NAI is turned off..... On the phone dialer screen, enter ##USB# to switch the USB connection from Mass Storage to Modem. While the screen telling you about the change is on the screen, plug your USB cable into your Instinct and your Mac. Your Mac should detect a new connection "Samsung CDMA Technologies". Configure this with the Sprint Vision Modemscript, set the number dialed to #777 and then hit connect and "poof", you are online....it worked for me and I am getting ripping speeds compared to Bluetooth tethering.
