Nokia 3220 locked to XE Mobile

I'm wondering if it's possible to unlock my Nokia 3220 Locked to XE mobile. It seems the online things where I enter all of the numbers and such don't list XE mobile as an option.

Also I have a DKU-5 cable and Diego 3.08, but I can't seem to get that program to recongnize the phone. With the DKU-2 cable, it seems to recognize my 6236 just fine.

^ 3220 isn't a CDMA phone that's handled by Diego. Unlocking GSM Nokia requires other methods, it isn't like showing the CDMA models' SPC/X-TKSL w/ PKD-1RD dongle installed. Google code calc for this DCT-4 generation GSM model.

It seems nothing is able to generate a code if the phone is locked by XE Mobile. Is there anyway to unlock it with a DKU-5 cable?

the code free online unlock code calculators do not work for the xe mobile branded nokia 3220's.

and unlocking these phones requires an fbus cable and the proper software to rewrite the simlock data in the phone's pm (permanent memory). getting the code from the xe mobile mvno company is going to be difficult since they have terminated all operations and their assets have been liquidated.

p.s. xe mobile phones are gid locked to 4101 with no imsi restrictions

I ended up just taking it to a local guy who I guess has something that was able to unlock it (Hardware based). I was then able to use the phone in Europe with a Vodafone SIM. So now that I'm back, I'll probably just sell the phone.

once you've got the cable connected and the software program running, the nokia 3220b only takes a few seconds to unlock. much easier than the something like a recent bb5 nokia phone.

for those of you that don't have a local unlock shop, there are mail in services like iunlock.com that you can mail your locked phone to and they will mail it back to you unlocked.

the hardware to unlock this phone costs a couple hundred dollars, and is probably not cost effective to purchase for person that is only going to unlock one or two nokia phones.
