I just received my a new 3G case I ordered about 2 weeks ago in anticipation form www.pielframa.com in Spain. 70 euros delivered.

Superb craftsmanship. I owned a 2G case and many others. They are as good as vajacases.com and ship sooner.

I bought the Belkin silicon case being sold in the Apple stores as I didn't want to take the phone home without a case. http://store.apple.com/us/product/TS...mco=MTMyOTg0Nw

So far it does its job without making the phone bulky, and offers a grippy feel, which is only a detriment when sliding it into a pocket. It comes with a screen protector as well which doesn't affect the usability of the touch interface at all.

I'm very happy with it, almost every time I have dropped a phone it has been while trying to get it removed from the case, this case solves that.

leather inside is kinda grippy so u need to be careful pulling out the phone

I felt the need to buy a case immediately, and the best one they had at the apple store at least for me was this :

Griffin Wave Case for iPhone 3G (Black)

at first it didn't seat properly and i was all bent out of shape about it, but i took my time and carefully snapped it together while holding the protective film layer in place and the case is closed pretty nicely

the film layer isn't anti-glare but i'm ok with it for now, i like the clamshell design, accessability for buttons and ports is good, its got a pretty slim profile and it's contoured shape makes the iphone 3g not much thicker than it is naked. great for scratch proof, probably not so much for shock proof. Also the plastic is not super-slippery

Just ordered one for myself, the white on white looks good, guess my wife will get my current case when she gets a 3G iPhone.

Got an incipio case from att while I wait for the new Incase Protective Cover and Slider.. The Protective Covers are up on Apple's Site but shipping indicates 1-2 weeks and the full spectrum of colors aren't out yet.. Kinda sweat the Orange and Rose though.. Incase cases are the best out there IMHO..

Edit: Just wanted to point out that nice custom job on the dock above.. Nice job.. Kinda looks like you took a hacksaw to it but hell if it works.. Nice.
