If you don't use the screen protector that comes with the Griffin Wave case, does the case become loose? I would prefer to use the anti-glare film instead.

I got the case and it actually seems to fit better without the screen protector. I have the crystal clear protector on.

I think that this is one of the better looking cases I've seen for iphones period...the agent 18 didn't look bad either...

...been using it since 7/13 and not one scratch. Did you use the screen cover?

I love the looks of my white iPhone so I really didn't want to cover it up with a case. However, I don't like to sit it down on hard surfaces so I picked this up at Best Buy. It keeps it safe when its not in use. But it doesn't cover up when it is.

    Combination I'm using

I got the Elan Form by Griffin in Black

    http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/elanform3g

It comes with a screen protector but it is not very good.

So I got the Power Support Anti-Glare screen protector

    http://www.powersupportusa.com/produ..._antiglare.php

Makes a good combination. Fairly slim case. The screen protector is very nice. Easy to apply without getting any bubbles.

So far so good, we'll see if I return it or not.

I tried the DLO Jam Jacket 3G silicone case

    http://www.dlo.com/Products/jj_iPhon...12150888403206

But I didn't like the bulkiness and the tendency for silicone cases to pick up lint.

I just picked up the marware sport grip from apple.com in white, 19.95. Looks a little "thinner" than the one for the 2g model but I loved that one so I'm hoping I love this one.

I had picked up the Agent 18 white shell today but there were to many gaps in it that I fear if it ever dropped it would come right off since its not as secure as I want. Tomorrow it goes back.

Griffin Wave Case for iPhone 3G (Black)

at first it didn't seat properly and i was all bent out of shape about it, but i took my time and carefully snapped it together while holding the protective film layer in place and the case is closed pretty nicely

the film layer isn't anti-glare but i'm ok with it for now, i like the clamshell design, accessability for buttons and ports is good, its got a pretty slim profile and it's contoured shape makes the iphone 3g not much thicker than it is naked. great for scratch proof, probably not so much for shock proof. Also the plastic is not super-slippery

I ordered the white one....its out for delivery today....yaaaaay!

edit: I jyst got it but that stupid layer that covers the screen always gets air pockets underneath it.....do you guys that have this case use that screen protector or just use the case without it?

fyi....my zagg invisble shield is on the way so that will protect my screen pretty well.

I took out the screen protector just for that same reason. I have a crystal clear protector on it now with the case. Great combination.

I started with a silicone sleeve. Nice and thin but not much protection. So I stuffed the sleeve into a hard shell. The shell started getting scratched, so I put it inside a suede pouch and cut a hole for the screen. But then I decided I needed a clip. So I put the whole thing in a holster. Of course, I worried that the holster might scratch, so I came up with this...
