I started with a silicone sleeve. Nice and thin but not much protection. So I stuffed the sleeve into a hard shell. The shell started getting scratched, so I put it inside a suede pouch and cut a hole for the screen. But then I decided I needed a clip. So I put the whole thing in a holster. Of course, I worried that the holster might scratch, so I came up with this...
Okay, I lol'd. Cute!
Here is the Sena case I ordered:
It seems pretty well-made. The fit is quite snug and is difficult to take out of the case but it's supposed to give a little once it's broken in. I got this case mainly for when I go running because I like putting it in my jacket pocket with change and chapstick and what have you.
I like the case, just one question is there a plastice shield over the screen? I hope not but to hold credit cards thats a nice case and the price it good, just wish it didnt come in red and black.
Nope, no plastic shield. I personally prefer the screen as-is.
anybody know if you can get dustcaps for the earphone jack and charging jack? I don't want a case but since I usually keep my phone in my pocket it would probably be a good idea to cover those plugs when not in use.
All these cases look good, but I am waiting for Otterbox to release the case for 3G. The thing I like it it keeps the dust out--I know the case is bulky--but you only get one shot to protect this phone. I didn't feel the need to post pics of the first gen case---but you can goto Otterbox.com to see pics of the 2G cases keep the pics comin! great thread!
Hey sk2sep2304 or anyone. Does this caase come with that port protectors also? Like the one in the picture, the headphone jack is covered with a piece of plastic proctetion.
This will be my pick... i could never understand why people bulk up a device that went thru lengths to get slim. Would anyone buy an ipod or iphone if it came off the factory line with a shockproof rubber case built in?

My plan is to use the below posted case when I'm mobile to protect it. I can still answer the phone or check e-mails while it's in the case. When I want to really use the phone for it's other functions, I'll just take it out of the case. I like the belt clip as well for when I'm walking around, or I just want to throw it in my pocket.

I have the same case and I love it.. It is very good quality. The phone is sung and well protected. You can position the phone 4 different ways in the holster and the clip rotates so you can stand it up to watch videos..
This case is almost perfect for me, but I have read some pretty bad reviews: bad quality, clip is cheap, plastic under leather cracks.
