its cool I thought I had to get an app to do it but I stumbled on it by accident - it was one of the first tricks I knew about - lol

if u hold the home screen and sleep button together for 12 seconds, your iphone can do a reboot

the earbuds that come with the iphone has a button that accepts calls when a call comes in, can switch to the next song when the ipod section is playing too...It does another feature by tapping it twice but i forgot what is was...

OMG no idea it was a button... I guess reading the manual can be of some use huh?

single tap = pause
double tap = next song

When listening to iPod on an iPhone ...

... if you switch to another iPhone app, DOUBLE-tapping the home button will bring a popup window allowing you to chapter-back or -forward, as well as Pause.

A quick little tip, if you touch the home screen to the right of the small circles that indicate which page you're on, you'll go to the next page, and if you touch to the left you'll go to the left page. This is just a quicker way to switch which doesn't require scrolling to the next page. Also, if you begin to scroll to the next page and then press beside the indicator circles, it will freeze the homescreen allowing you to see both pages, and the buttons are still interactive.

you can now tap the status bar if any app to scroll right to the top.
Works great for sms if you want to quickly get to the top to use the call or contact info buttons.

i have a question. when you plug your phone into itunes are all the apps that you downloaded from your phone on your itunes? because only about 5 out of 15 apps that i downloaded from my phone appear under the applications tab in itunes.

Try sync'ing. Should do the trick.

Actually it doesn't.

The only thing I can figure is that the Applications part of iTunes contains apps that you downloaded from the apps store VIA iTunes. Apps that you download via the iPhone are not listed there (in my case), but should be in the backup of the phone in case of a restore.
