ha, never thought of manually dropping a pin. thanks for that!
hi mate. i was referring to manually dropping the pins in the maps program. i actually learned about doing it this way when i was browsing the g-park application reviews and someone commented that we shouldn't pay when we can just manually do it. i appreciated that comment and have been doing it. you can of course pay the small application fee for one that does exactly that.
Drop as many pins as you want. Just make it a bookmark if you wanna keep it after.
This is cool but...
...is there anyway to then email that bookmark? I just tried this and it took me a few minutes to realize the bookmarked pins are stored in the map app, not in safari. And the map app doesn't appear to have a way to mail them, unless I missed it... being able to email it would be very cool.
How do I move icons from the second screen back to the main one? I can move icons to the second, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the back. Thanks

Same way, you just have to be patient when dragging from one screen to the next. Sometimes it takes a second before it registers in the UI and you are able to move it across. Do it slowly and be more patient than you would when moving within the same screen.
I posted this in another thread, but thought other's may like to see it here:
Tip, if you want to create folders for photos or extra playlist, create them on your copmuter first and add content to them. Then, sync them through iTunes. The important part is that you MUST add content to them, an empty folder/playlist will not appear on the iPhone.
