PTT:
Push to Talk is only $5 a month for nationwide walkie-talkie service to other Verizon Wireless Push to Talk customers. Just press a button for quick exchanges with the people you need to reach most.
I ordered mine too, I just hope the Overnight is accurate as at checkout it said 1-2 business days... also it never gave me the option to add PTT for any amount so I wonder if they are charging monthly for it.. it was $5.00 last night but now thats gone at least during the order process it was for my upgrade. Here's to hoping I get the tracking# so I can confirm that soon.
Yep I'm gettin the Boulder too (whenever it gets released.... Not Patiently waiting lol) not sure what i will do with the Moto after, but it may still be a good phone for an experiment I have in mind

Congrats....Very cool it looks like the Moto will have the better feature set. I noticed when you order it like you are a new customer it still gives you the option of declining PTT..so it shouldn't be a problem. I want PTT so five buck is cool with me
The Motorola V750 supports the following Bluetooth Profiles: Headset, Hands−free, Dial−up Networking, Advanced Audio Distribution (Stereo), Phonebook Access, Basic Printing, Basic Imaging, Serial Port Profile, Audio/Visual Remote Control, File Transfer, Generic Audio/Visual Distribution, Audio/Visual Distribution, Audio/Visual Control Transport Protocol, and Object Push Profile for sending & receiving Contact Name Cards, Calendar Events, and other non-protected data between devices.
First off yes I would say the web browsing is finally at a good speed, as is downloading ring tones etc, everything so far is FAST..., When I do a Vcast clip it says connecting for a few 2-3 seconds then Buffering for 1-2seconds and plays all the way through every time so far. No rebuffering or any issues that I could tell.
Secondly it feels at least close to Mil spec, actually about the same feel as my Gzone type S as far as wiggling the flip, and pushing on it a bit, but it is lighter then the gzone and def thinner..
Plus I like the PTT button it has a Texture to it, easy to feel for, not slip as easily.
The Speakerphone im still testing doesnt seem as loud as it should be but I would say the ringer is about the same as the Gzone-S
Only thing I cant seem to do yet is set my own custom ring tones but I'm still playing with that... Otherwise I like it so far.
It has 2 little pieces of plastic that stick up when the phone is closed I think it's for the flip to hit against, but a little bit sharp (not dangerous) just not what i expected to feel.
I'm thinking of ordering this phone for my 11 year old step-daughter. Would it be good for her? I can get it for free with a 2 year or 24.99 with a 1 year contract with my work discount. Thinking about going ahead and switching to verizon and getting me the i760 and her that. Then when the boulder comes out ill port mine and the wifes line and get us those and keep the pda as a back up line.

I think if she's careful enough not to drop it in Water as it's NOT water resistant then yes it should be fine, otherwise the GzOne maybe better as an all around just in case it goes in a pool or the like... I still plan to grab a GzOne (Boulder) as soon as possible, hoping it's next week...
I looked at this phone at CC last night. It didn't feel as sturdy as I expected, but it wasn't bad. The keypad has a really nice feel to it and the phone looks nice. The speakerphone was on the weak side and call quality through the earpiece was average. It does have a bigger battery than I expected.
Overall, it didnt feel as sturdy as the G'Zone, but it is significantly smaller and fits in a pocket just fine.
Which OS is running this phone> The regular Craptastic Verizon OS, or a Motorola variant that allows older eyes (like mine) to actually see and read the display?
