    8525 ics does not work

Got a 8525 with wm6 off ebay, seems as if all settings were cleared before it was shipped. I have internet working on the phone and the phone will connect to the computer with either bt pan or usb with ics, but the computer can not reach the internet. With my samsung BJ ics worked fine with no issues. I installed wmwifi router before trying ics, I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the issue

I also cannot send or receive mms. I think they may be related but I'm unsure were to go at this point.

    Any advice?

Yeah. Stick it up your *** and see if the vacuum force fixes the problem. Worst case scenario you'll end up with a smelly phone.

I'm guessing you've had success with shoving phones up your ***?

In ActiveSync, there is a setting for "This computer connects to:". What do you have that set to? The default is Automatic I believe. I have only had luck with that setting set to "The Internet".

MMS requires an active data connection on the device. Are you able to connect to and surf the Internet via your cellular providers data connection? MMS will NOT work via WiFi.

I'm not a fan of trolls either. Stop wasting our time. If you feel the need to post nonsense, head over to Slowfo.com

Continue to do it here and you will be taking a vacation.

    Thanks for the reply.
I fixed the problem. I got the appropriate att MMS settings
and somehow ICS started working after I reinstalled wmwifi router. I didn't realize MMS had it's own configuration page.
