confirmed , doesnt work for 8330M

those that want to download it and give it a try (bypassing the slow "megaupload" )

Has anyone loaded one of the 5.0 beta OS's to a USCC 8230? Any success? I've tried loading it to mine and it won't go. I never had any problems with the 4.5 betas going to my 8130 or 8330 so I'm all like wtfbbq

Nicholas, it worked fine for my 8330 but I think it said that its not going to work for the pearl just yet. I remember reading it on crackberry somewhere.

Oh I haven't changed my profile yet, I'm using a Pearl Flip. And I pulled the Pearl Flip 5.0 from a link from Crackberry. It just doesn't want to load to the phone.

I dunno, probably going to boot XP and see if it'll do it for me. I like Vista but it's a PITA at times

Can anyone suggest a good theme for the Tour that will give me more than 6 icons on the home screen? Possibly something that will allow me to use my own wallpaper in the background? Thanks.

how do you like the 8230 ? i have played with it at a uscc store and it seems to be ok i was wondering how it compares to the bigger BB'S like the 8330 or 9630 ?

I love suretype. All in all I like it well enough. Really anymore I don't do enough with my phones to justify having a smartphone. But I love having it, so I dunno.

Google Maps has been updated to version 3.2.1

Hopefully it will fix the GPS lock issue I am having with my Tour.
