instant messaging was just released officially from blackberry. just go to mobile.blackberry.com for the ota downloads for aim and icq and stuff.

im using the aim one now and its almost as nice as jivetalk was

Apparently, there's about to be a new MySpace app for BB. Here's the announcement page, which allows you to sign up to be notified when it's available.

FWIW, I loved BBAlerts...it was worth the 13.95 to me. I miss it. I should redownload it for PB v2.0

I see there is a planned release for Slingbox Mobile for Blackberry "later this year". Anybody heard anything on this? They've had it for Windows Mobile and Palm for a while now, still waiting for the Blackberry release.

I'm also anxious for the blackberry slingplayer to be released, and i've also read that it'll happen later this year or early 2009. Although, you'll need EVDO first.
