d0nkz was telling me that whenever he gets a message from me my facebook photo pops up. Sounds neat.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not planning on using the app. But that's because it's rare I enjoy installing anything

I dig the 1.5 update. I did hear there is another version...maybe 1.51 or something that fixed a few bugs. I like that it links the calendar and contacts. Only bummer is that some of the photos I had for contacts on my phone were switched to their facebook photo. I am sure I can change it but kind of a pain. Still, like the integration. Also, I like that you can now view peoples comments on their status and you can post your own without opening your browser. A minor improvement but well worth the upgrade.

I didn't realize nobody had posted it, but yeah, facebook is now at version 1.6. Quite nice, and much more useful than the WinMo version.

Yeah, I picked up on this upgrade through the RIM forum and forgot to post it here. For the most part I like it, but it is a bit strange you don't readily see your own updates.

UPDATE: Answered my own question. It appears the new version is 1.04. I'm loading it now!

    Couple of cool apps:

    Shazam for Blackberry:

    Just like the iPhone version.

    Link

    YouMail:
    Visual Voicemail for all BlackBerries.
Plus it emails and texts you when you have new vmail, and it also has special contact integration.

    Link

    Just a note for YouMail:
To get the right dialing codes you have to set it up for Verizon.

How did you set it up for Verizon? As soon as I entered my number it puked up an error saying "We don't support U.S. Cellular".

I think it's crap that Shazam is free on the iPhone/iPod Touch but $4.95 for Blackberry. I wouldn't use it enough to pay for it I just don't like the device discrimination.

I believe it is free for 3 months or something and then you have to pay for it if you want to keep using it. I payed for it because I knew how much I would use it, and I was right!

The trial is now only 7 days and it wouldn't even work for me under the trial...kept pushing me out to their site to pay.
