You can now browse App World online. You cannot purchase/download online, but once you find an app you like, it does give you the ability to send a download link to your BB.

I really like the application PodTrapper. It cost me $9.99 but I think it was worth it.

Using PodTrapper I subscribe to podcasts. I tell it to automatically download the newest episodes at 2:00 a.m. They are stored on my MicroSD card. I use my bluetooth Voyager to listen to them on my commute, when I'm walking, etc. I have it configured so that with one press of the mute button on top of my Curve it will play/pause the current podcast. No need to even take it out of my holster.

its supposed to fix the in market roaming. hopefully it will give us a call timer again too.

Note that that only applies to the Curve, Pearl (8130), and 8830. The Pearl Flip (8230) is already running OS 4.6.

im using telus .160
i have .169 a try from cellular south and i didnt like it . seemed to slow the phone down pretty bad .

i wonder if the US Cellular version is better than the Cellular South ?

otherwise , i think i will stay with .160

Tried to do the update.
Not good, somehow lost everything. Radio is off, when I connect to the DM it will not find my PIN.
I can see my back up which I would like to do but can not find how to get it back in the BB.
Any thoughts?

do you have a error message on the screen ?

if so , remove the battery . connect the USB cable and run DM or app loader .
will load the OS again and fix the issue .

I had an error during the first try of updating, after about 45 mins. of initializing device, said it couldn't initialize, I did a cancel.

In the time that I posted and got your reply, I did shut everything down, reboot my computer and got it back up and running. Looks like .169 is installed, even though I did a restore of .66, and a my contacts are back and everything looks like it working EXCEPT, the radio is still off.
If I go into status, at the signal where it says radio off it does not give me an option to turn it back on.
