I don't see any of these mentioned yet. I started using GooSync to synchronize my Google Calendar with my Mogul. It's free if all you want to do is sync your main calendar, but if you want multiple calendars or your contacts and tasks synced there's a fee. And there isn't automatic syncing, but that's ok. Not having to sync Google to Outlook and then to the phone is worth the small inconvenience.

I also use Ultrasoft Money to enter transactions into Microsoft Money when I'm away from my computer.

And finally, there's DVD Profiler Mobile for when I want to show off my movie collection.

So a quick review, SPB Online has the following features:
    - TV
    - Radio
    - News
    - Weather
    - Shop
    - Games
    - Ringtones
    - Themes

Shop, Ringtones, and Themes are basically useless because they all cost money. The ringtones are $.99 and they suck, the themes are no good and the Shop has a bunch of programs you can find elsewhere, many are SPB programs but not all, but I'm quite certain you can get them all for less elsewhere.

News is just an RSS reader.

Weather is just like any other weather app, nothing special.

The TV app is OK, but it's all UK content and there's a bit of lag so the audio doesn't match the video which I find crazy annoying.

The radio portion is GREAT, lots of UK and US station options.

The games are OK, I played a lot of online checkers.

The best part is that you can select a radio station and then go play checkers while still listening to that radio station.

Overall though I won't be purchasing it when my trial is up.

Seven works well most of the time. Once in a while it will stop pushing data when it should. I've never figured out why but a reset will usually fix it. It does take a big part of the home screen up but on the bright side it doesn't seem to drain the battery.

Always worth it to try the free trial and see for yourself. Although I don't think there's a WM Smartphone version.

Been hanging around Spb's site a bit...currently trying out Spb Insight, an RSS and news reader app. I really like it and think I'm going to keep this one after the trial is over.

    Opera Mini 4.2 beta

    http://www.operamini.com/beta/

Testing it now but as with anything else that comes out of the Opera camp, it just gets better with each version.

Made me get up and check my version. Suddenly my Esmertec jbed isn't working - won't start the app (or the gmail app either - though I don't use it). Just used my Opera mini a couple of days ago...

Anyway, too tired tonight to play with it, but I guess I'll need to check to see if there's an update to that, too. What are you using?

I'm using 4.1 but I downloaded and installed 4.2 beta and am playing with it. Which is one thing I love about using a java emulator, you can have multiple versions of the same app installed at the same time. No problems with Esmertec here.

I will say that 4.2 is definitely a beta, it has frozen up on me a few times and given me a few errors. I'm sure it will be good when it comes out of beta but at the moment it's slightly rough.

But I love the black skin and it does seem faster.

I re-loaded Esmertec, but couldn't find my Opera mini install cab. Downloaded it directly to the phone (probably to the device instead of the card, dang it) and it seems to work okay, but lost all of my bookmarks & settings. I THINK I had previously downloaded an update that came in a package with GMail and some other thing.

...more research and then I'll probably re-do it all to the card and give 4.2 a try.
