yeh, i wish there was a lesser data option... i have used 70MB in 11 days, that's an average of 7mb/day, so like 210MB/month... i have 5 email accounts on fetch every 15 minutes, i surf often, wifi only at home.

i aso wish there was an option to download podcasts direct to the iphone instead of havin to Dl to itunes and sync.

Yep, so, it looks like Rogers was right... 6 GB of data will be plenty for everyone. The lowest original iphone plan was pretty crappy, but 1-2 gigs should do everyone just fine if you're an average person using a combo of WiFi and 3G here and there...

I can see power users using 3G constantly and racking up the gigs, but not the average person.

Looks like Rogers / Fido was right and we're wrong! Silly consumers...

I've owned the iPhone for 9 days and used 700mb. I really don't know how I've used so much. I browse a few sites regularly. Watch a YouTube video once in a while and a bit of gps and that's it

If you could pay 10-15 dollars less for an amount of data you would actually use every month... wouldn't you want to go for that instead of paying $30 for an amount of data you may never even come close to using?

5 Mb sent, 121 Mb Receieved over 16 days

I don't bother getting the counter reset!

I think the 6Gb "limit" will last till the end of the three years term...

well its a choice of take the deal 6gb for 30 bux now or take 300mb for 30 bux and risk overage. after august it goes back to 6gb for 100 bux a month. i don't really care if i use up all the 6gb, its just if i was stuck with 300mb, there would be no way i could afford the accidental overages.
    i need a haircut.

totally, the battery makes sure we don't over use it. and proprietary ipod connector makes sure we can't recharge it anywhere we want, and incompatibility with previous ipod accessories has us carry our ipod cable and wall adapter in our pockets with us. Regular USB would have been so much easier.
