The Bold is supposed to drop to $199 for everyone (Voice + Data) in a few days! Just hang tight!
Knowing that, I still thought I should try to switch from a corporate plan to a retention plan before Q4 pricing kicked in. I called today and got myself a slightly better plan:
- 200 dt + WE/WN at 6 pm ($17.50)
- My5 nationwide talk & text ($15)
- VM/CID/125 texts ($11 for $1)
- 2MB Data ($15 for $10)
- 911 + SAF
- $57.57 tax-in
All that with a $299 hup for the BBold on a 3-yr contract. I asked for $199, but she wouldn't budge!! With Q4 pricing taking effect tomorrow, the hup to a BBold should drop to $199 and there will be a BB data plan that would give me similar to what I just switched to, but 500mb data!
Do you think I'll be able to get a $100 credit on the BBold and get them to give me more data?? Given Q4 pricing??
I went on a Corp plan a few years ago can anyone tell me if there is a better plan offered. MSD code is NA73 (found on my bill). Pretty sure I am a 200 wk/unlim eve/wkd @ 6/call display & basic vm included. 1006 i think is the name if i remember correctly.
I'm currently not on contract, but on corporate plan. When I've called in to inquire about resigning, with maybe a non-corporate plan, customer service says because I've got the corporate code on the account they cannot see what plans would be available to me if I was not on corporate. The only way they could see is if they took off the corporate code. Same issue when I ask about HUP. Is this true, or were they too lazy to check? They can't see based on my revenue what I would qualify for. If they did take it off to see what plans are available, could they not just put the code back on?
What happened to the thread that had the all the Tier A, B, C account details and what you get under each Tier? That thread used to be stickied??
Anyhow, can someone tell me what Tier is "City Of Mississauga" (Government) ?? It used to be Tier A ($100 hardware credit, 12 month HUP rotation, admin fees waived). Can someone verify? Thanks in advance!

The info in that thread was no longer current or relevant
A colleague called the corporate HUP line and our corporate plan is again back to the 12 months upgrade cycle.
Back in September, a number of tier A corporate plans got bumped down from 12 months HUP cycle to 24 months cycle. However, since last week, this policy change has been reverted back to the old terms. So if you're stuck in the same boat, try calling the HUP line again and maybe your HUP policy also has been reverted back.
Upgrade to iPhone can be done now but requires switching to the 60 dollars iphone plan.
When you have your cell phone on a corporate plan, do you still get the increased bundle discounts on TV/Cable/Internet (15% for all 4 services) ??????
I have a corporate plan which includes enhanced voicemail and call display. I wish to add a value pack to my account. I was told by one customer service rep that I can't add duplicate features which rules out any value packs for me.
Is this true?
I would like to add name display and some text package. This works out to $12. So I could spend an extra $3 for some extras if I chose a value pack.
I'm hoping someone can lend a hand. Our company has it's Corp Employee Plan with one "Rogers Authorized" Dealer. The CEP plan they have is really good, but the Blackberry Bold price is higher than most other places. Can I get another Dealer to sell me the same plan? If so what's the easiest way to flag the plan for them?
Thanks,
Dantes
