On my company's website, it says that if you want to keep your personal plan (quite frankly, corporate plans are sucky), you can have a 20% rebate on your bill.
    Is this common?

    I work for Nortel Networks

That's the same plan I am on, but a different Government code. I'm with a provincial government.

sorry, a few boring noob questions, I couldn't find in the FAQs

    1. is "you have a company code on your account" == an "MSD code" == a corporate account/company account?

    2. what is "MSD" an abbreviation for? just curious.

    3. is there a list of the companies whose employees qualify for the Official EPP plan?

    4. can Rogers retail stores help with corp accounts, corp HUP, etc? or best only to phone in for those?

    Thx

On this plan as well, anyone know what the free evening time is if you don't pay the $5 upgrade. I barely use my phone in those three hours.

Not sure where else to post this ... I'm currently using a line on my dad's corporate account. I've been using it for about 4 years now so I'm month to month, and I'm looking to get the iPhone 3G. I'm also looking to get some retention deals, though.

First of all, am I even able to deal with rogers? Or would my dad need to do it?
Second, what would be best: do they do corporate retentions, or should I ask if I can transfer to a consumer account?
Third, what are my chances of even getting any retention plans after 4 years?

    Right now my plan includes:
    200 anytime minutes $18
    unlimited wkends @ 6 $0
    corporate enhanced voicemail $8 - 8
    unlimited evenings @ 6 $5
    caller id, call forwarding $0
    saf + 911 $7.45

ends up being around $34 after taxes

If you don't get the $5 evening option, usage will come off your 200 minute bucket.

I know that it comes out of your bucket.

On the government 1175 plan it says free evenings and unlimited weekend, the $5 for 6pm is for early evenings.

What is the time for non-upgraded evenings.

funny i just came into this thread to ask a question regarding this.

i have a line on this corp plan. $18 + $5 for unlimited evenings @6pm.

so, this account uses very little voice... maybe 150mins for the month usually. decided to save $5 and take off the unlimited evenings at 6. now its just 200 daytime & unlimited weekends for $18.

the first few bills come in and notice evening calls are being charged regardless of the daytime minutes. the month total was like 140mins. there were 2 calls in the whole month during the evening, cost something like 46 cents, so wasnt a big deal.. but i did call up and they lady was nice, checked with a supervisor and said that you need the $5 UL evening for evenings to be covered, otherwise you pay regardless of the 200 daytime.. really doesnt sound right though does it?

pretty sure $5 is for UL evenings altogether... i removed it on one account (just posted about it) and am getting charged for ANY evening minutes used, regardless of 200 daytime bucket.

Thanks for the info.. Definitely going to check that out. I guess it does make sense as they're called daytime minutes and not anytime

I called Rogers about an EPP plan to find out what tier my company is in for HUP purposes but the CSR told me that companies don't have tiers, individual people do, and it depends on your tenure and revenue. Is this true?

Also, am I allowed to get a second phone on an EPP plan for a relative to use? If so, can I put the callerID in her name?
