    Did you call Rogers CSR or the corp. rep. I thought this plan has been discontinued for hospital employees.

    thanks
    The plan still exists, however you must be corporately-reimbursed to be eligible for it.

    I work for the CIBC and I tried to get the CIBC employee plan at the Rogers Plus store, but they said that the CIBC plan is no longer $20, and is now $25. So I have absolutely no idea what has changed, because my printout is from a website..

    They put me on a regular plan to take advantage of some promo, and said to come back in 3 months and change it to the CIBC plan.

    Where can I go to find the exact price and options currently offered by the CIBC plan?

    Basically I think I might have been lied to, because I was listening to them saying a lot of 'off' things today in the store to people, myself included.

    Corporate HUP question.

    I just HUP'd for a BOLD. I had called in 2 days before the launch to ensure I qualified, I did. I was told a $100 off any phone in the Rogers line up applied to me.

    When I called in and did the HUP, the CSR said that I only qualify for the $399 new activation price, and that the $100 would be if I bought the phone outright.

    Does that sound normal or correct? I thought the HUP renewed your contract for another term, 3 yrs in my case. Could I have bought the phone for $100 off the $599 price and not renewed the contract?

    I was told the HUP cycle was 24 months but...

    I checked online tonight and it reflects my new/current HUP and said I don't qualify again until 22 August 2009! A 12 month term...

    I've been on a corp plan for awhile.. the $100 discount seems to vary.. dependant on the phone.. and the demand.
    My first HUP in 2003 I was told on the phone that I qualified for $100 off whatever phone I wanted, and that discount was applied after any discounts I got after renewing my contract... upon going to a dealer I was told I was eligible for a $250 discount.. I bought a rogers phone right then and resold it to them and bought the phone I wanted off ebay..

    Now I find when I call in that the corporate prices for phones are higher than consumer prices, and then you get the $100 discount... kind of a joke.
    If anyone else has a different experience please let me know.

    I have a corporate plan question and I'm not sure where else to ask it:

    I'm on my dad's corporate plan, on month-to-month. I'd like to negotiate some credits on my account, because I want to add a text plan and data plan and I've been going over every month (with texts).

    Should I negotiate a plan first, then order an iPhone? I suspect renewing on a 3-yr plan will remove any chance of negotiating with retentions.

    Another question: Is it possible to pick up an iPhone in-store and renew on my contract (retention credits included) if I'm on a corp plan? Or will I have to order through the phone ?

    Thanks!

    If you want the iphone, the only way to get it at the consumer discount pricing is to change your plan to one of their iphone plans.. and they are horrible. The other option is to pay "full" price which is around $500-$600 minus your corp discount.. probably $100.
    Lastly you can negotiate at retentions for consumer pricing while keeping your existing plan, but doing so will limit your negotiating power for other things you mentioned like the texting etc.

    Currently Telus is offering $200 account credit for people to switch over.. pretty good bargaining chip if you ask me.

    Really? Standard offer for everyone? When did this start and when does it expire?

    Question iphone 3g visual voicemail package?

    My plan is as follows:
    $18 for 200min
    unlimited evenings/wkds.
    call forwarding $3
    hmm i don't see call display/voicemail listed but I am sure I have it, must be included in the $18?
    Syst access fee
    911 Emergency.

    Question:

    Should I add or switch something in order to get the $15 visual voicemail value package?

    Can I do this under a corporate plan?

    No idea.. a friend of mine got a free blackberry, and a $200 credit to "buy her out of her contract" with rogers.. plus a pretty decent plan.

    I told rogers that telus was matching my voiceplan, giving me $15 unlimited on phone data, and the $200 credit.. and I got a SICK deal from the retentions dept. Rogers didn't ask for the proof of offer or anything, so I actually could have made it all up I guess, but they really did offer me that.
    Pretty happy.

    Question about LD

    Hi everyone, I currently have the following from rogers:

    Corporate Business Plan - $18.00

    * 200 Wkday/Unltd Wkend
    * Unltd Evenings

    Additional Services

    * Detailed Billing
    * Exact Pricing
    * Cdn Corporate Long Distance
    * Canada to US Long Distance
    * 2500 Sent/Unl. Received Txt
    * Network Features *
    * Windsor/Detroit Rate Following

    Additional Charges**

    * Unltd Evenings - $5.00 - Monthly
    * 911 Emergency Svc Access Fee - $0.50 - Monthly
    * System Access Fee - $6.95 - Monthly - What is this?

    Discount(s)

    * Activation Fee Credit
    * Value Pack 1 Month Credit
    * 33.3% Value Pack Add-on Disc.

    I also have the 6gb data plan.

    I spoke to a Rogers retention rep today and she said that having Cdn Corp Long Distance means that I am entitled to talk to my father, who's line (also corp plan) is on the same account, for free. Is this true, and does that imply that calling long distance numbers that are not on my account, or even on Rogers, are free? Would this apply to calling U.S. numbers as well?

    Thanks for the help.
