Just got mine in the mail today. The front piece and a 1 piece back. The front was easy to put on. I actually had to do it again once I turned my phone on and I say a black speck of something underneath (used a flashlight app to check). The back was a pain in the behind! OMG! I wanted to just say "screw it!" and trash the back piece. After 2 to 2.5 hours, I finally got it on. I'm letting the phone sit over night. The temptation to play with it (ever since I got it) is hard to resist. But I think I can play Cro-Mag Rally since that is just using the accelerometer. But I got a work thing I have to check into before bed so, maybe it'll just sit until morning.

My observations as I've applied both one and two piece backs. As advertised, the 2 piece backs are easier to apply after all. But, I don't like the seam it leaves. I'm anal I suppose. The one piece backs are only slightly more difficult than the v1 backs I've used. Look much better than the 2 pc. backs. It really only takes patience. If you set aside an hour you'll be fine. I apply the back, then let it sit for 20 minutes. Then I hold down the sides. Again, let it sit. Maybe 10 minutes this time. Then I hold down the corners one at a time. Then I repeat the process. It works for me and it looks great. Smooth.
I agree with one of the above posts. An hour is about what it takes. But once you have it on and let it sit, you have to go back every 20 minutes or so to push down the corners. If you stay patient the corners will settle perfectly. I've had mine on to over a week and it looks fantastic. The corners are holding up great and there are no bubbles or bulging anywhere.

Yeah, I had to get rid of the 2 piece back because the accumulated dust was driving me nuts. When I took the back piece off, the accumulated dust/debris had crusted... pretty nasty. Luckily, BSE's Customer Service is top notch, and when I told them about the problems with the 2 piece back they sent me a 1 piece version w/no hesitation.
Got the BSE coming in the mail, as well as a couple powersupport anti-glare films. The combination of the two packages will keep me sorted for a while. Glad to hear the BSE is getting good reviews. The price comparison was night and day between that and IS!
I've also applied the 2 piece and the one piece. On the white especially i would see the 2 piece picking up lint and stuff in the seam. It seemed like it might eventually leave a dirt line or something if it was removed later. I just put the one piece on and it was decidedly more difficult but I'm happier.
My corners on the one piece seem to be more covered than on the 2 piece as well.
