there's no AMS folder in BREW folder because you cant download apps with koodo.. duhh

anyone gentle enough to send me a backup of the telus filesystem?

Hey, I used bitPim to put Opera min and MGmaps on my LG envy2. Everything worked perfectly, but when i edited the ContentInfo file, I messed it up a bit ( i found this out later by comparing it to my backup).

My phone is now a brick, only the telus screen comes up when i power my phone.

I have a backup .zip file, but when i choose the option of 'Restore' in BitPim, it just gives me an error saying " the phone is not responding while transitioning mode from none to brew"

If anyone knows what to do, it would be greatly appreciated, as i kinda need my phone working! thanks












Well, i got it to work, after selecting only the ContentInfo file. Gave me a heart attack for a few minutes tho :P

Hi to all I'm new to the site.

Before I found the site I hooked my phone up to my PC via USB and it asked me if I wanted to connect via USB and I said yes. Now after finding the site I have decided to add a few "Extras" to my Keybo but when I connect to my PC now it doesn't ask me anymore about connecting. When I try to enter the phone through Bitpim it will not recognize the phone at all. Is there a way to reset my phone back to the beggining stages where I can choose connect via USB and say No ?
It doesn't ask about any connection anymore at all.
Do I need to put in the SD card?
I have tried Bitpim 1.05 and 1.06
Can someone please help!!!!

Got it to go to "connect via USB' now and I say No but bitpim will not detect the phone. I have tried several times.
What do I do next. I have extracted the drivers installed them etc.

Anyone been able to figure out how to D/load and play your own videos onto their Keybo for Koodo.
Could do it on the Samsung Instinct easily, this is a different beast somehow.
Anyone plz help if it is at all possible.

How did everyone get their mobile browser to Opera Mini? I copied Opera Mini over the email app and restarted the phone, and when I go into:
Menu -> Games & Apps -> Apps -> Get New
the list is then empty, where would these apps show up? and is there anything I need to change? I changed the filename of the Opera Mini jar and jad files to 14.jar and 14.jad. Then I copied the file to this directory
Filesystem -> brew -> ams -> 13 (which was the email app)
after that I rebooted the phone.

Can I get some help with the brew plz? thanks

my computer wouldnt let me download the driver, is there a trick to getting it downloaded? i'm technologicaly challenged...

I have the LG Keybo from Koodo Mobile, and whenever I plug it into the computer I get no message on the miniscreen. I thought that was normal because I don't have a micro SD card yet. When I open Bitpim and try to detect the phone it never works. It can not detect my phone even though it is plugged in via usb. Any tips? or is there anything I'm missing? I installed the drivers and they're on the desktop and whenever i plug it in and the windows driver install thing comes up I hit cancel. Do i have to use that to install the drivers?

I tried to follow your instructions but my computer will not allow me to download the driver because of an unknown publisher. what else can i do to get this done? i'm pretty new to this hacking your phone bussiness so i'm not even really sure what to do... please help me

Chopper, did you manage to get Gmail, Opera Mini etc on your phone?
I assume no since apparently the Koodo version does not support java, but I would be very happy to hear otherwise
