my brothers bought exactly the same phone so is there anyway to backup is phone and to recover it ?
like backing up the .bin files or somethings like that ?

hey koontzy - have you renamed the .bin file to CX? I don't know if any of this will help, but maybe try deleting everything you've added and resetting the phone to factory settings from the menu and then try and install the bin?

Also somebody responded to my earlier post about opera mini not working for me - whatever that issue was, it's been resolved. Opera Mini works fine, and when in socket mode I'm not seeing a charge on my bill.

ok! Opera mini is working again its has gone through a new install and now it all good! Also bolt browser dont dooo the repaint things anymore but its look like i lost all my saved preference high score and stuff like that. Im gonna try to reflash with kopernic .bin or the telus one soon and give you some news. Also i got billed 0.00 for a service called 'gps apps' on my koodo self service! Look funny

How did you make Opera Mini work again?

I did nothing to make opera work again
look like my phone "resetted" the setting file of all my apps and saved games, bookmark and stuff like that
kopernic have u asked them what is the gps things if u DONT have gps on your phone?

I have Telus Navigator installed.. I tought they wouldnt charge for it since we're not supposed to have it installed.. but hey, I was wrong lol

I have the TELUS LG 9100 Keybo. Recently I downloaded a couple images from the TELUS site, and since then I have had the "new message" icon on my screen, even tho I have no new messages of any kind.

I got the icon because my phone was receiving an image I had bought. I was looking at an image as it asked me to confirm my purchase and decided I didn't want it. So I backed up the browser then closed it. The icon was up still and there were no new messages.

I have tried turning my phone off and on, pulling out the battery to restart it, and have recieved texts since then (I'd hoped it would reset something for the icon), but it's still there.

Any ideas for getting rid of it? It's very annoying and I keep thinking I have something new to read and don't want to completely ignore it and end up missing messages.

try resetting your phone to it's factory settings. I think it's in phone settings under security.

hey all i am just wondering if there is any one out there with a kodoo's keybo i'm looking for the media player files out of it. i really hate the telus one and saw the kodoos one on a friends phone but she don;t hang around any more so if any one can send them to me please do just add xxx_454_xxx@hotmail.com to your msn and send then that way would be grate or letting me know how to get then is cool too.

kid454 - don't do it! you hate the telus music player? I can guarentee you'll hate the koodo one ten times more. It has ZERO features - it plays files from myMusic and that is it - it doesn't read id3 tags, you can't look at your music by artist or album, it alphabetizes and displays the tracks by TRACK NAME and nothing else. I'd send you the .jars if I still had them (I don't) but seriously, reconsider. Not worth it.

Can anyone please post their "dload/drafts.dat" file and their "sms/drafts" folder.

I screwed up my drafts royally, it doesn't restore after reboot and its full with 50 drafts saying error 2.

I'm pretty sure when you access them in bitpim they should have something in there like the inbox and outbox does, but mine is empty. The size for my inbox.dat and outbox.dat folders are both 13600 but the drafts.dat is 0.

So if anyone can post a copy or link of their clean/empty folders with i guess the "blank" files so i can restore mine it would be highly appreciated.

Hey Final_Seconds - my drafts.dat file is also 0 bytes, and sms/drafts is empty (even though I have a saved draft). Not sure what that means, or where it actually saves the draft files... sorry. Maybe somebody else will have answers.
