    I'm paying $120 including taxes.
    Have u seen my plan?

    Super Talk 40 $40
    1000 minutes outgoing
    unlimited incoming
    unlimited ew@5 $2
    Unlimited Messaging $8
    Unlimited Data $15
    Unlimited LD CAN-CAN, CAN-USA $15

    $80+SAF+911+taxes = ~$100

    I pay around $20 less than u do and the few differences are u have 150 more minutes than i do and my 5.

    u can pull some more stuff from them, try to get t2t for free, like vvm and/or a bigger vm box.

    After reading all post here, I think I've been Scammed !

    Customer since 2002
    Employee at Telus since 2003

    My Retention Plan,
    250 minutes daytime (Unlmited E/W starting at 6pm-8am) - $17.30
    Caller ID $0
    Voicemail 3 $0
    Call Forwarding $0
    Unlimited data (Web and IM) $25 <----- that's the part making me think i've been scammed, everyone is 15$
    911 etc 7.75
    Taxes Quebec
    They give me a BB Pearl 8130 for free, but I sell it because I won a Storm at the Christmas party.

    50+taxes = 56.48$ 3 years contract

    I have the unlimited data for 1 year, after that I can cancel it, I think it will be the time to argue for a 15$ data plan.

    And before you guys ask ... when I called for a retention plan, I never said I was an employee at Telus cause I would never had this plan !!! employee plan are not very good.

    You can't get a $15 dollar data plan anymore, period. No exceptions. You should consider yourself lucky to have gotten the $25 data plan at all, since you are NOT supposed to be able to get it with such a cheap voice plan.

    Overall you have NOT been scammed. If anything, you are scamming them.

    Unlimited Local Telus to Telus $0

    I stupidly got rid of my $15 data only 1.5 months ago before finding something better to compare with and get a better deal. Such is life..

    Been with Telus since 2003 (awesome customer service)
    it's not as cheap as the $10 plans, but i'm pretty satisfied, especially cuz i only had to call once

    Sweet Deal 25 (100 minutes, 100 bonus minutes, UL w/e, VM3) - $17.50
    Loyalty package 15 (Call ID, 250 outgoing txt) - free
    SAF - $6.95
    Emergeny - $0.75
    Total - $25.20
    After tax = $28.50

    Best part = no contract

    What happened: I was paying talk 20 for 200 min ($20) + Text 30 ($3) + smart bundle 7 for CID, VM3 (free for 1yr contract), UL W/E (free for 1 year contract), SAF, E911 + tax which totaled to about $32/month.

    My contract is over mid-march and i didn't want to sign another contract because i might be moving away in August. But i realized that if i don't sign another contract, i'd lose all the features that i get with the contract (which means no UL w/e and no call id).

    I did some investigating at different carriers and I found that Fido was able to give me almost exactly the same plan (except only 50 day minutes) for about the same price w/o contract (as long as i have a gsm phone, which is not hard to obtain an old one from friends). I called telus to see if they can match that and they gave me what i have now, which is even cheaper than before with more features

    I just called Telus and negotiated a rather sweet deal I think.

    SweetDeal 25 for promotional pricing of $17.50

    200 Daytime minutes
    6pm free
    Voicemail 10
    CID,CW, CF
    Text Message 250
    TELUS to TELUS
    U/L Web browsing
    25 LD minutes

    Total = $31 inc tax and SAF

    (now I am kind of taking Telus's word on this as I haven't seen the bill yet but the total is what they told me)

    I don't think I ever added what I got... As of late dec 08, after approx 1.5years with telus I was able to resign to get a Storm for 3year pricing on the student plan 50 which includes

    * Text Messaging Services
    * US Roam Air @0.95
    * SPARK Sampler
    * US Roam Toll @ $0.50 Cdn
    * Canadian LD @ $0.35
    * Free Local Birthday Calls
    * 6pm Local Nights & Weekends
    * Pocket Web Surf Business
    * 10 Nationwide My Faves
    * 10 My Faves
    * MyFaves mutual exclusion
    * Unlimited - Data roaming $8/MB
    * Conference Calling
    * Call Waiting
    Also, they have included
    Caller ID $7-3 years free, Caller ID $7-3 years free, Voicemail 10 $7-3 years free, Client service credit 10 min, Voicemail 10 $7-3 years free

    This plan costs less than my former plan, and I have more services. My system was keep calling and push for things to be added (without being forceful/rude). exp I would call because I was looking for a deal on a new phone, they would offer 2 or 3 year pricing, and add it to the account. I would call to ask if I could have the student plan ect.I realized trying for everything in one call doesn't really work, and if you just ask about things without trying to lead them they will only offer what is on the site. ex I spend alot on texts, we have a text pkg for $__ or I need to make long D calls, we have the nationwide for $__ but if you ask lead them or ask them directly can I have or how can I get, it seems to be better.
    All service reps are not created equal, some will make offers some will stonewall you with 'what they have' time is in your favour, they log how often you call. So more calls, and a good attitude will get you what you want.

    I still pay for the service fee, but now that koodoo offers no monthly fees you might get rid of that....
    Good luck to all!
