The person also mentioned that if I sign a contract for the line I already have a phone for, "sales" would be able to give a rebate + upgrade to VM25.
However when transfered to sales, the lady had no idea what I was talking about.

So this offer replaces the one you previously posted ($50 with 1GB)? Sales should know what retentions mentioned IF they noted this detail in your account. I just called Telus Care (not retentions) just to ask if the 5GB is 'tiered' or not and they were able to look at the notes and confirm that is not 'tiered'.

No, sales saw the notes for the sask plan. However the retention person told me that since i own one of the phones already, if I wanted to sign a contract for that line as well sales would be able to offer a discount on the monthly rate and upgrade the voicemail from the 3 included in the plan to vm25. This is the part that sales woman was unaware of.

I originally negotiated the 250 sms pack, but they forgot to take it off. So now I have unlimited texts + 250 texts. LOL.

man, I tried to get this, they said there is no way to give unlimited incoming free...so i said "ok that's fine, however can I get the Promo Voice n Data $60 for $55?", they said no...so I have to think about it now...
i'm currently paykng $55+tax...so to go to $60 plus tax for 1gb less data and no incoming...that really bothers me...I just want the incoming included and same price point...I'll pay $60 if they give me the unlimited incoming lol...I don't feel like i'm really getting a "deal"...

Actually, I just realized that unlimited incoming was not a part of the offer. What's you current plan? Why do you need unlimited incoming?

I like my plan, but they will not renew it, saying I must change to a different plan...I did end up getting a deal:
same plan as jigsatics, but I'm paying $55+ tax rather than $50+tax. This is fine with me as I'm currently paying $55+tax. Got the Galaxy s3
