    why would you get a big bill? texting is nation wide...

    If you got a big bill because you went over, then just try asking for messaging 250 or messaging unlimited to be added for free.

    Maybe ask for a discount to also be applied, but i doubt you would get that...
    Seeing as you already get 50% off your data... essentially making that data plan like mine, which is no longer available (the 15 dollar data plan).

    Also if you are paying for caller id try and get that credited and free. Also what is telus mobile email, that you seem to be paying for.

    The other thing i can suggest is trying to get maybe a super talk 20 or super talk 25 plan, but dont think you would gain much seeing as you like your my5...

    Well the problem was I was texting someone out of the My5 lol and I forgot they weren't in it so I'd rather have unl texting. Minutes isn't a big deal for me dont use to many, but the one thing witht he super talk is that I need a minimum $45 with the contract I signed correct?

    well what phone? a blackberry? you might be able to get an exception to that rule.

    What's the deal with the Your Choice Smartphone 35 plan? It says that it can be used as a share plan too...right now i have 2 phone each with ,Sweet Deal 25 - 6pm Night&Wkd Caller ID $7-3 years free, and L&R Advanced Voice Mail Free..What if i get the Smartphone 35 plan between the two of us, and get an omnia or Dare something with resign to 3 yr....Would that be cheaper and i'd get 300 minutes to share, with unlimited NATIONWIDE talk & text2 with your 5 favourite numbers3, 500 MB data???

    yea i was wondering the same thing, i got the same offer 150 hardware discount, and i half to resign up to 3 years, and im 1 year in also...

    Same here, i'm 18 months in and they won't budge at all only the 150 off to resign, mind you the reps I have been getting lately seem to be newbies, there delivery is totaly scripted and painful I don't even try to hard because I know I won't get anywhere with them

    You cannot get that plan regardless cus its only available in Manitoba apparently...
    my 3 year contract just ended, and i genuinely wanted to switch to rogers. after speaking with a rep, she told gave me the supertalk 10, and some other stuff. so it should still be available.

    I really don't know, I was just super upfront and friendly about it. I had only asked about maybe getting a discount on the Tour (originally I only had a $150 credit) and she made my day by giving me promo pricing. On top of that she made my bill drop about $25 a month. She was definitly the best CSR I have ever talked to..and not only because of the obvious. We joked around etc etc. I want to marry her.

    When should I call into L&R?

    I want the HTC Touch Pro 2....My 2 year contract is ending August 12.

    When should I call in? Can I be on the wait list for the TP2 before calling into L&R? How does L&R get the phone to me? Can they even promise me the phone right now before the TP2 is already released? Do I have to wait until the phone is selling before I can call into L&R to ask to get that phone for its promo price along with my retention plan?
