Lovin the new update. Since I was able to get in on the first release for free, I felt it was only fair to purchase the update.
First off, I updated both the desktop app and the iphone app. This version has a snappier feel to it. Connecting and buffering seem to work quicker. Song scrubbing is very smooth and the search funch looks across all the libraries you might be connected to and returns results in categories based on which user has the song you might be looking for.
So far it's a thumbs up and recommended.
I agree. I updated and I am loving the updated app.
i've had nothing but problems with simplify, including the newer version.
first of all, it can't really handle my library of files. it takes forever (hours) to load, and the iPhone struggles reading a database that large to the point where it is unusable (55,000 songs)
so then i attempted to make a playlist in itunes to only share songs rated 3 stars or better (1600 songs). while it loads up much quicker (usable), THEY AREN'T THE RIGHT 1600 SONGS! I'm clearly marking the 3+ stars playlist I created in iTunes, and that playlist is correct within iTunes. Yet, thousands of songs, most of which are not in the 3 star playlist, are being shared, while the majority of the 3+ star songs are not being shared.
Incredibly frusturating. I wish there was recourse I could take when an app doesn't work as expected. I suppose only pay iTunes with a credit card and dispute the charges?
I have 2 computers using the same screen name. At least one is up 24 hours a day with about 100 gigs of classic rock, alternative, jam band, Americana, and a little bit of progressive rock.
Service is being removed and canceled within the next 3 months for all users.

does anyone happen to have a user/name password (an account) they don't use anymore and would be willing to send it my way? My buddy wants to connect to my simplify but I can not remember my password and he can not make a new account. I can't password reset for some odd reason as it doesn't give me the option in options. It did once and I tried it but it failed. Weird.
so if anyone can help me out that'd be great. thanks.
