iPhone 3G MAY actually support TMO 3G

i wonder why you guys worship the iphone on the tmobile forums? the original has all the features plus a software unlock,the 3g iphone isnt going to work on tmobile 3g bands so face it. get the original iphone and jailbreak then wait untill an android phone is released.i thought the 3g was going to be the best iphone ever but i still think the original is better in general. the 3g does have great speeds and i wish apple wouldve sold iphones gsm/hsdpa/aws unlocked so that it can work on 3g with att/tmo but its still exclusive.

uhm, the whole point of this thread is that aws maybe usable with a software update.

I think the most exciting part of this has nothing to do with the iPhone. It's the fact that such a chip is in mass production and can be used in other high-end phones to make them compatible with both ATT and TMO 3G.

Why would you want it to run on T-Mo's 3G network? The device already has issues connecting with its native carrier AT&T's 3G network.
