(oh, and I'm quite surprised that no leaks have occurred yet. for the last two MTK models leaks occurred way before the Bluetooth/FCC filings. And among other things there's supposed to be at least one CDMA phone launched as well- but that's no good for those outside China, and there's apparently no Bluetooth or FCC entry to substantiate this- unless Sharp reuses their Japanese model entry)

That's a good point, no leaks at all...
And yeah, if they don't need to redesign anything hardware wise, then they just reuse an FCC filing (unlike Toshiba which submits filings for each market version). But thus far Sharp's redesigned all the SoftBank phones to take out 1seg and FeliCa and resubmitted them to the FCC, so they'd probably do the same here. Maybe the CDMA phones are a little further down the track...

Good screen and horrible camera Does the Sidekick have AQUOS technology? Or is the brand just some name to make you think 'wow I have a portable TV'?

Yeah, I would assume quite confidently that the Sidekick LX 2009 has the same screen as the 920SH/SX862/WX-T92/SH9010C.

I would have to say that Verizon sounds the best.

but they are going LTE everything is supposed to be ope......

spoke too soon, knowing is Verizon..they will ensure that their LTE network is unique to their network so there is absolutely no roaming on their network or on their phones.

I'll wait for the Hiptop version to arrive in Australia But I doubt I'll like it, those kind of devices are just uninteresting to me and I don't use Facebook, Twitter and that other rubbish.
